power poles

Can the transom of a 2008 175txw handle Power Poles or a Talon ? I have heard some say that Tracker does not recommend them. What's everyone opinion .

Good question, I know one person that has a 2 or 3 year old Tracker Pro Team with a Power Pole and hasn't had any problems.

I am thinking more inline with the Talon, as to a easier install because of no pump. Also the ones that have them ,did you use the bracket that mounts to the motor mount holes or did you just bolt it on the transom . Thanks

There is a guy named BassColonel, has YouTube vid. The the talon he put on his PT 175. With the bracket behind the motor. Bass pro did the install to. And there are more on YouTube, where some used the tilt bracket. After a year or two reviews. There all seem to not have any problems.
