Whats the all around best rod for all types of bass fishing. Price doesnt matter. Terl i will be using is a shimano core 50mg7.

Get yourself a Shimano Crucial MH F. They balance together quite well.

Dobyns 734 is the best all round rod I have used so far. I have a savvy 734 and love it. The Champion would be even better.

I have the sierra 734 and it is the best all around rod I ever used including shimano and abu rods.

What do you normally throw when you bass fish? If we narrow down
Quoteall types of bass fishing
you might get a better rod dedicated to that style of fishing.
I agree a 734 in the Dobyns Savvy is very versatile.
The Powell 734 was also a nice versatile rod until But I probably had as much to do with that as the rod. I keep catching heavy fish in lilly pads. lo

7'3 Dobyns in anything less than the Champion series might not balance well. You need a 6'8 to 7' to balance that reel properly. Its a very light reel, and if your rods too long or heavy it will be tip heavy.

I can't speak for the Sierra series, but the only downside to the Dobyns Savvy I have is the weight. It is a fairly heavy rod in comparison to some other rods I own.
The champion series is a lighter rod, if you have the funds for it, then I highly recommend it.
Also Dobyns has some of the best customer service out there.
I know they are a sponsor on this site, but my recommendation has nothing to do with that. I truly do believe they make an excellent product.

I believe that the Dobyns Fury 734C is my best bass rod. I have others in my arsenal, some Dobyns and some not, but I don't think they come close to how many times I grab the 734. Truth be told, I would like to go almost exclusively Dobyns but retirement won't allow that. One of these days.

The Sierra series is as light as the champion just is a little more parabolic which makes it even a better all around rod. Still is very sensitive and casts farther because it loads faster. Don't get me wrong the champion is my go to rod but if you like to throw spinnerbaits the sierra outshines the champion. If throwing jigs and worms then the champion is the right choice.

My suggestion would also be a 734, but I'm biased since I have one in the  Champion line.

I didn't go the dobyns route...  but do love my powell 755... and for a bit stiffer rod, the 735.

I think, Rick, in terms of action, capabilities of the rods, we are in somewhat close alignment.

I'm a fan of the Denali lithium 843 . Great 3/8 to 1/2 oz. Jig rod , t rig rod, spinnerbait
rod ,even the 90 and 110 whopper plopper.
Really nice stick  that can do a lot.
