The winds were higher than expected so we only fished early mornings. I dink to show for it.

That was my thought when I boated that fish. That was the only bite in 2 hours.

Yeah I've pretty much come to accept that when I go and fish for a few hours this summer my goal is to get that 1 or 2 fish that are on a different feeding schedule than the rest lol and then just hope and pray they measure more than 10 inches :-/

I went fishing this evening reluctantly to my playground and surprisingly enough a few fish enjoyed my offering.Biggest went for 18.25
All were caught on a centipede

That is one bait I have never tried.

I am hitting OT hard again. Looking forward to another nice pay check. REALLY looking forward to Friday as it starts my 5 days off in a row!!!

Yeah... 2/0 EWG hook with a 1/16 lead. Nothing hits that, pick up your bait and go home!! Lol!!

Yeah I won't be fishing tomorrow so its the end of the month for me. Hopefully next month will be better.

That would be a monster even for Fl waters I think.

Lip you are probably right, I learned a couple of seasons ago not to declare a winner until the contest period is officially over. Sometimes one of these guys can and will surprise you at the very end.

@ Cport... Ibass is the equivalent to the FLBR and you will  see it on the Catch of the day forum. Zip who is the Club Director for this competition has lifted all the handicaps. You can post on both competitions.

I know they were painting snooks before but rule # three said
3. Only Large Mouth Bass (LMB) caught in Florida waters will be accepted for this competition
    (Note: Active duty Military Personnel from FL are the only individuals exempt) so I guess strioed bass don't count.

I missed the early days but I guess some of them snooks were painted real good huh.  I sure miss seeing some of the old guard not posting on here anymore.
