How do you guys protect your LSCR?
Other that a padded steel tube wrapped in Kevlar and Seal Team Six.

Mine are in Pro Series Rod Gloves ( the extra-long size to protect as much of the blank as possible) and locked in a closet that only I have the key for.

Rod glove with Dobyns foam rod tip cover. Stands vertical in a rod rock when not in use. I cover it back up when on the bank or boat when I switch.

I plan on using a Angler Innovation rod cover. Won one here a few years back and live it. Nice neoprene one. Sold on TW.

I gave up on that a long time ago.  Lee's rods are thoroughbreds and need to be engaged in the battles of bass fishing.  You just gotta let em run, play and get dirty.  It's the American way.   ~flag

I honestly don't cover my rods, just my reels. Lol. Sorry Lee. I don't bang my equipment around though.

My wife says she is gonna leave me if I go fishing one more time........lord how I will miss that woman.

cortman

Standard issue rod gloves for me.
Wait, I don't have any LSCRs. Well, that's what I'd use if I had one. :)

I use the BPS Adjustable Rod Sock on all of my rods  ;)

Xs 2, they get a coat of automotive wax every year and I keep them clean but they do show signs of war. Wish I could afford an LSCR.

Old Fishermen never die, their rods just go limp.

Thanks all for your suggestions.
I went with the pro rod gloves and reel gloves. Just need the rod now. But I bought three sets and threw them on the Dobyns I have and saved a set for the LSCR.

Lol :-*

Not yet just the rod gloves, locked room, and two trained guard dogs out side.
