So the finally talked the fiancee into getting a boat (after the wedding) but the thing is she wants a Pontoon. Are there any good alternatives that would make a good all around boat that I can also take to local/regional bass tournaments? Was thinking a Deep V or something.

Bay boats. They can do both, family activities and fishing.
