Has anyone tried the newer Stren 100% Fluorocarbon Fluoroscent line?  I am not referring to the lower priced Stren Fluorocast line that is available at most Walmarts.  As "line watcher" with a preference for fluorescent line in general, I would be using it for weightless plastics, jigs, and Texas-Rigs - 12lb, 15lb & 17lb.  Thanks.

I haven't tried it,but I would avoid most Stren products.  I use Sunline Flippin FC on a couple of my jig and c-rig rods and really like it.
It's a clear line with a greenish stripe every 30 inches or so. Easy to see and handles about like sniper, maybe not quite as limp but easy to cast.
The only downside is that 16lb. is as small as it comes.

I will use Andy line before I would use stren any line!!!!

Haven't used Stren Fluoro. I didn't like Stren braid though.

I use invizx fluoro, I think its a really good line. I've heard great things about Sunline FC.

As far as Fluorescent I use Seaguar Senshi mono. It has very similar properties to Fluorocarbon. Very low stretch, great sensitivity, it is also fairly manageable, but it floats like mono.
PB: 6lbs 5oz / 24.25 inches.

I watched Bill Dance rave about it this morning and wondered how much they paid him to say that.

In my opinion, it's garbage. It's been a few years since I've messed with it, but I had some of the worst memory with it.

Honestly if you want cheap priced line that's fairly decent, pick up some Trilene or Bass Pro Fluoro. I'll only use Sunline anymore. FC Sniper has the lowest memory that I have used.

I don't like to bash brands by name, but like others here I have to say that in my personal experience in trying just about every new line Stren has ever put out, I have never found a single spool of any of it that I would recommend to anyone. Like I said, this is just my personal experience. You might find it to be the total opposite.

In the end the only real way to find out if it is what you are looking for is to get some and try it out for yourself.
