Fished Cypress this morning from 7:30 a.m. to about 11:30 a.m.  Only 1 bass and 3 white perch, all on white spinnerbait.  Can't see to get the bite going this year.  Looked back at my records and this years water temp (67-70 for today) is 4 to 5 degrees warmer than this same time last year.  Might have something to do with it.

Mitch said he was having trouble getting a bit as well, but found that by using that wal-mart little fishy thing on a smallbeetle spin and adding some red to the tip of the tail he tore them up.  Read his post he hooked into like 25 or something.

Mike I haven't caught any on a spinnerbait but fogy was right about the bettlespin, 1/16 oz head fished real slow around docks.
Take a kid fishing, the smiles are priceless!!!

I'm doing better on the spinnerbait than on the beetlespin.  Still have more areas to fish...probably Wednesday.
