well i finally found a replacement for the bumble bee since its wreck. its a starcraft. the years unknow as it doesnt have a hin (pre 72) it does however have numbers on it. its already set up exactly like i wanted. its 15ft 6.5ft wide at the widest point on the bottom. needless to say after a whole summer of bumming a boat im happy  :). http://s1376.photobucket.com/user/Jerry_Barnard/media/starcraft_zpszly1hpro.jpg.html

That was sad after all the time and money you put into the Bee.

Good to see you're back on the water though!

Most likely but it's not like today's, today's has copper sulfate and will eat holes in your hull in less than a year. DO NOT USE PT PLYWOOD IN YOUR BOAT!!! If you go to tinboats you'll find a bunch of StarCraft restorations and how-tos then let us know and follow along with what you're going to do.

It's difficult to say from the pics. It it appears to be causing corrosion on the aluminum that it's contacting, I'd say yes. I put a new deck and carpeting on an older BassTracker I owned and I purchased marine grade plywood. Marine grade is a very dense plywood with no voids whatsoever in the laminated layers or the surface. The surface was also smooth as silk.

Typically preassure treated wood especially plywood will have a stamp on the ends.. unfortunately it's obviously all cut up.

Typically pressure treated wood is darker and last better over time.

Honestly from these pictures it is hard to tell. But because how dark it looks I personally am leaning towards that it is pressure treated as well.
