I really like the Atwood, seems to be durable. Even with screens we run a lot of junk through our pumps in Louisiana, probably just like you.

I also get the largest volume pump available which is 1000 GPM. Then cycle 2 minutes of fresh water on them every two minutes. All our fish are caught shallow in the warm water, so keeping the water at lake temp, flushed from urine and coughed up debri is key. With 1000 GPM I don't have to worry about cooling the water.
