Hello, First post here...... I am preparing for the purchase of a new 175 TXW and have a few questions that i cant find the answers for on the Tracker website.

What size hitch ball is required?
What is the tongue weight of the entire package?
What is the height of the hitch so i can fiqure out what hitch ball mount i need to purchase for my Ram 1500.

Thanks in advance for your input.  Ken

I just bought a 190, but I think they are about the same, it needs a 2 inch ball and the tongue weight is less than 200 pounds.  I am not sure of the height.

I think that most trailers want like a 16" trailer ball height. You might want to double check that though.

How about a trailer dolly to reposition boat when in yard or garage? Has anybody tried one of these?

I had a wheel on the tongue jack and didn't find the need for a dolly.  Being kind of concerned about the lock, I also had a wheel chock that I used on the front wheel.  My boat was only a 15 foot skiff so was relatively light and easy to roll around.

I was curious... I'm planning on storing the boat in my back yard and it would help for final positioning.

If you aren't on concrete or another hard surface, cut a few strips of 3/4 inch plywood and lay them down on the ground so the wheels will roll on that then pick them up for later, it is much easier moving a trailer around by hand that way on soft ground.
