Good morning folks,
I am writing this review after having my boat for a year.  Well I physically had it for 6 months.  It was sent back to Triton for 6 months for peeling paint and the lining was coming off.  After I picked it up yesterday there are all kinds of problems.  They neglected to attach the console.  The failed to hook up the wiring.  The motor had creatures living in it.  And the list goes on and on.  I have contacted Triton and their customer service has been horrible.  Marty is the warranty guy and good luck getting a return call.
Sorry for the rant but I want to let you guys know about the horrible customer service from Triton

this seems very unusual to me.  Have never heard of this type of problem with Triton.  Just wondering what kind of support are you getting from your dealer?  It is my belief that unless you have solid dealer support and they are aggressive they can get the answers by calling some of their contacts.

Did you return it to the factory or to the factory through the dealer?  Just wondering, I had an issue a few years ago the factory had to fix and they had me carry it to the dealer, they stripped it and sent off, then replaced everything and checked it all out when it got back.  What small issues I had was due to the dealer side, not the factory side and I must say, the dealer I dealt with took extremely good care of me to the point, I had 0 complaints.

Hope it all works out for you, and with anything, stuff falls through the cracks at times, how well I know  :'(

The boat went to the dealer, then back to the factory.  When it returned it went to the dealer.  Triton nor the dealer bothered to check it.  The both took the blame for this one.  Through the power of social media, I was contacted by several at the dealer and Triton yesterday.  After only 4 trips back to the dealer to correct the original issues the first month I had the boat, this will be 5th and final I hope.  They promised to get it right.  We'll see.  Btw, this was a brand new boat at time of purchase.

Lucky for you it didn't  involve the trailer... Marine Master is the absolute worst company ever...or at least second...

Wow.  This is a first for me.  I've been a Triton owner since 2003.  They've been spot on and incredibly responsive every time I needed help or had a question.

You might wanna do a little background checking on your dealer.  He/she may be the problem.  I'd hate to think you got caught in the middle of a bad relationship but I've seen it happen.  The manufacturer always won up to their responsibilities but a butthead dealer can make it harder to bring to closure.  Do you have another option?

31airborne,
The dealer is surely an issue.  They seem to be dragging their feet.  Triton has also been dragging their feet.  I blame both 50/50.  I was able to find another Triton dealer that has been very helpful.  After several emails to both it looks like this new dealer is going to try and fix the problems today.  I spent most of day fixing what I could.  I bought a Triton knowing their support.  Also their appreciation for military and police.  I had no idea I would have this many problems.  Thanks guys for your advice.   I would never buy another boat from the first dealer.

good for you!  you do have choices after all - for boats and for dealers.  sounds like you found someone who gets it.

like you, I was pleased to see, take advantage Triton's veterans' program.
