Lake Atkins report Feb 20-21 2016

I fished Lake Atkins this past weekend, and the was extremely slow.  Lake is down 1-2 feet, and that made the flipping bite tough. Water temps were 48-52. Tried pitching to cypress trees for awhile, but with the water being low, I couldn't buy bite off those. I backed off the trees, and fished stumps and brush in water from 6ft to 14ft. Only managed a handful bites on jig, and d bomb. I can't wait to head back up there in April when that place is on fire.
