Plastic dip, found at any parts store, is not just for putting new handles on your favorite pliers anymore. That might have been what I first purchased it for but I now have a new use for it!

I started double dipping the eyes of my trailer hooks in it and hanging them to cure. It takes a couple of days for the curing process but I'm sure that's due to me putting it on so thick.

The first hooks that I tried this on were a 7/0 that I attached to some Musky/Pike baits that I wanted to have tested. 1 of those baits has caught over 60 fish with about half of them being on the trailer hook.
If plastic dip can hold up to the abuse it seen from the toothy fish up north, it should work great on our bass baits!

Just thought I'd share.

Simple and perfect.  Thanks, dood.  Those clear plastic tubes are giving me fits.
