Anyone have any experience with this boat? Thoughts? I am looking at a leftover 2015 with a 115 Merc Pro xs on the back and while it's a sharp looking boat I am a little concerned with the rod storage or lack there of and the hull. The salesman is trying to tell me that my current 2013 Tracker PT175 has no foam in it which is complete BS and that this boat is far better in terms of durability, fishability and quality. I get it that he's a salesman and he's going to try and sell me on his product but without any knowledge on this boat, it's hard to tell what I am looking at. My other concern is the hull and the type of ride it will provide. My current tracker rides like a dream, cuts thru the waves and feels solid. The hull on this Triton is almost identical to my dad's 2014 Lowe Stinger in that it looks like it plows thru the water instead of cutting thru it.

Any feedback would be helpful.

Love to hear about what you think of your boat? Heck maybe I can buy yours

know it's an old thread.

still, I do run the Ranger RT 178... pretty similar boat, same hull I think.
doesn't 'plow'...  very stable.  love the full foam flotation in the Ranger.  for those times I've forgotten to put in the plug...   ~b~

no wood construction is also, in my book, a huge plus.

I get 7 rods in my locker... up to 8 feet long (not all 7)... but I also don't have any rods less than 7 foot anymore.  think it has very good storage.  Solid ride.

And I prefer the bow not sticking as high out of the water as the Trackers...
