Cajun-care fuel system on 1995 Cajun 150 pro adventure

Does anyone know how the gas tank on these boats work internally? Is it one big tank or two separate ones?

Mine has a rotating nob in the middle of the splash area in back of boat that has options for "on","off" and "reserve". I have no idea how long the gas has been sitting in the reserve.  The person who sold it to me said they added sta-bil to the main tank but never used the reserve. So I'm wondering if when you open the reserve it mixes with any gas that is left in the main tank?
