Anybody use this yet? I'm not concerned about the line color alternating. More concerned if the line transmites vibrations close to shooter and how it compares to similarly priced lines. 10$ cheaper than shooter and you get almost 40 more yards. It isn't charted out on Sunline's site either.I cannot find anything on this line....

I haven't got to play with that one yet. We have several Sunline users and I'll bet they've tried it. Hopefully they report in soon.

Hope somebody has used it. Their 18# seems to be in between the 18 and 20 of shooter. Traditionally I've used shooter in 20# but would settle for 18 in the Flippin FC for jigs in brush/timber/any wood if it's as advertised.

The Sunline Shooter FC is very slightly more dense than the Sunline Flipping FC.

  • Shooter 20lb - .0146"
  • Flipping 20lb - .0150"

So not too much difference there really.

I had a master chart from Sunline last year and this line was on it. I chose not to buy due the properties being not what I was looking for. I stayed with Shooter. I bought some structure during that time to test out, and it was closer to Shooter than the Flipping.

Here is the chart for structure. 0.0146 for 20#

Interesting. Seems almost identical to shooter.Do you have the chart for Flippin FC?

I cant find it at all.

I remember the straight strength, sensitivity and abrasion was close, if not the same as Sniper. Made me not even worry about the line.

Im all about Sunline, and using/testing everything they have if I feel it can help me.

I started a test post on Assassin here. Lots of others chimed in. I would check on that line for flipping. Well worth the money IMO. Cheaper than Sniper, and a little more line. I needed something to replace Shooter myself.

It is a little stiffer and less stretch.

I have one spoil of it and it is closer to sniper than shooter.

It is sunline though and will make you throw rocks at anything else

I haven't used the "Structure" though.
I heard it's pretty awsome, but unfortunately I haven't fished much at all in the last few years.  :'(
