My new to me 1987 Ranger 360V

Been working on her almost all weekend. Finally covered it back up. Needs a lot of work like carpet, wiring, some gauges and all seats. Solid boat with a 150 GT VRO Johnson, Minn Kota 55 Edge bow mount and a Ranger Trail trailer. Here is a picture of it covered and more under the Ranger Boat topic.

My father owned one, I'd swear it was the say boat but his was an 83', same boat and motor. Same colors too. Drove it until he bought a new ranger in 07' 08'.... It was an awesome boat!

Congrats and have fun with the restore, the personization as you go will make it special to you!

I was going to say the same thing, Mike. A buddy and I were at Bucksaw Marine on Truman years ago, and he got a wild hair and bought the same color boat, only his had a Merc on it. It was a very good boat and he ended up selling it to another friend who kept it for a number of years.

I saw it posted on a webpage for Lakeside Marine in Harrisburg, PA. I have dealt with them for five years or so on a couple of boats and an outboard. It looks good from the outside but the inside needs a good cleaning and some redoing. Trailer looks to be solid. the side boards need to be replaced/recovered and I will know what condition the bunks are in when I get it off the trailer in the Spring. Dealer's son took it with some Buddies to a lake up there and he said it ran just over 50 MPH and would probably do better if I changed the prop. Present prop is a four blade. SS. Hi-Tech. It will probably be good in turns and this old guy doesn't need to do the 70s any more.
Three boats in the backyard. two aluminum and the Ranger. Now referring to the backyard as the Fifth Avenue Marina.

I think dad's boat topped out about 56-58 but back then that was hauling arse....
