Red River gives up Lunker

~c~Congratulations to "Nitro" for giving up a big fight, she was almost 14 pounds.

laskeeter , This was an awesome fish, Russ McVey is an excellent fisherman and knows the river very well. If you check out the Red River fishing reports you will see alot of information about the status of "Nitro"

I fish the 4 rivers here and have never seen anything like that, except a goo...

Nope 13.62lbs the largest ever to be taken from the Red and the 22nd largest ever in the state

Wow that's a beautiful fish. He's probably holding it out that far to see it too. He's probably still in amazement too.

We will be having our tournament on the Red tomorrow morning beginning at safe daylight. Would sure be nice to see something like "Nitro" come to the scales for our weigh-in.
