Hi all,

I just got the score of the century. I was able to score a 96 cajun bass boat that had been purchased new and garage stored by a retired gentleman that used it 3-4 a year and meticulously maintained it. He fell on hard time and pretty much gave it to me for little of nothing! Only issue is the batteries were traded and not replaced. I have the starter batter and the boat runs great. The only catch is there are four sets of battery leads in the back. I got the starter, accessories, and troller. What in the world could the forth set go to? It is a cajun 164 with a 70hp mercury. As always I appreciate the help!

Could it possibly be for a 36v trolling motor setup ? Maybe there in case you decide to go 36v ? Does it have an onboard  charger ?
Stop by the Garage and let me know if you have Maintenance issues that you need assistance with.

Tough question without seeing the leads and set up.

36v trolling motor?
On board charger?
Graph?

sounds like a 12/24 volt system with a battery 1 and 2 switch.  My friend's Lund had the same thing.

It is in the shop getting winterized but I will post pictures soon. One set of leads is taped up which leads me to believe it is a just in case setup for a bigger trolling motor.

2 on the port and 2 on the starboard?

My one is like that.

Port side for 24v trolling. But put in a 12v and just use one lead.

Starboard side one to crank and one for the electronics. But I put all 4 leads to one battery and it does fine.
