i nabbed a few Lunkerhunt Frogs the other day.. do any of you south FLA guys have any experience with these frogs . and if you do what are the pros and cons.

Hi TritonMike, I have used lunkerhunt in the past. In a nutshell.... there are better frogs out there. Let me explain. When they first came out, i was very eager to get my hands on one of these. I bought a few. I fell for the leg action. They do look great on the water during retrieval I will say. When they day came for me to break them in at Glades, they were destroyed after a few fish. Both my BIL and I were fishing with them. First thing to go were the legs. Then after that, they were ripped to shreds. Booyah frogs although are cheaper frogs, hold out much better than Lunker Hunt frogs. Sorry for such a negative review, I am an avid frog user and whenever I see Lunker Hunt recommendations I always recommend some other brand of frog. Good luck with them. They will catch you fish, but they don't last long sadly.

I don't know much about the Lunker Hunt frogs except I seen em at the walmart and Lou gave me the excellent advice of not buying them lol. I do second Lou on the Booyah frog. After hooking up with 11 fish yesterday 3 of which were very nice sized one just 1 frog the entire time I can say they are durable. No rips, and even though I punctured it in one catch with the hook it still isnt taking on any water. I was amazed considering a few other frogs I've tried that haven't caught me any fish are already sinking and need to be squeezed after just about every cast.

TritonMike, since you got them use them. They will catch you fish. Who knows you may have a different experience than I did.

I like SPRO frogs, but whatever works for a guy is best.  I also like MisterTwister frogs though they aren't hollow body.  I like those at times because I can swim them and then let them sink slowly in the pads.

Has anyone tried the new Jawbone frogs at Dicks for 2.99 ea? I bought 4 of them, haven't really had the opportunity to try them out. They look like they are pretty well built, the paint job on them looks good, and the plastic body is nice and supple.

I saw those this past weekend and almost grabbed one. But put it back and grabbed a livetarget to try.

I felt one out of the package and it was very soft. Like the lunker hunter I have is. So... not sure. But $3 is cheap!

After trying out Live Target Frogs it is hard for me to put anything else on. SPROS I had plain out sucked for me, although I know lots of others love them.

Hook ups went WAY UP when I switched to LT's and the fish just crush them.
