I wish I could say I spanked em' today, but the bass spanked me.  Put in at the Gravois access and fished my way from there to the Glaize.  Main lake and secondary points, pockets, backs of creeks.  You name it, I fished it.  Jerk bait and jig were the only baits I could get bit on but not a single keeper all day. I talked to several others who shared the same results as me.  I am interested to see how the OMTT ended up.  I'm sure some folks had it figured out.

Sounds rough out there. What kind of water temps were you seeing? I am figuring another 2-3 weeks and the bite should be getting real good.

The lower Glaize all the way to the lower Gravois was 42-43.  Saw 52 in the upper Gravois.  I figured the would be on fire when I found that.  Wrong again.  lol

Surprised to hear the upper Gravois was 52. Hopefully we get some warmer nights to get the bite going.

The bass were still with the offshore shad schools last week. Those females will follow the shad towards shore and into the cove. Use your electronics to find the large shad schools and fish first to the sides and if they bite, fish just beneath the school. A slow falling shad imitator like a large grub or tube will work as will a jigging spoon.
