My sons bass

My 12 year old son and I were fly fishing in Rosavelt lake in Mississippi and son started hollering he had a real big fish. I thought he was going to bust a gut he was so excited. He fought it for a few minutes and when he landed it, it was a 1.5 large mouth bass.
Son started dancing around and kept yelling how he had caught his FIRST large mouth bass. He had caught many brem and some ceappie but this fish was a dream of his for a long time.
We brought it home and since his mom was visiting her family in the Philippines we froze it. We both love to go fishing together and our favorite kind of fishing is with popping bugs and flies. Anyhow I wanted to share this with fellow fishermen here. Does anyone else fly fish here??

WOW thats great,, shoot I cant even bass fish right never mind flyfish.. and at 12 yrs old.. I would have been thrilled too  ;D

    That's cool CR Kid's never forget their first one.

He will never forget that fish...I'm 57 and still remember my first bass....

So now you might as well get ready to a run to Bass Pro Shop or your local tackle store for more stuff for him... :)
