Where to launch on the west side of Okeechobee?

Trying to avoid the Rayovac - Clewiston traffic this Thursday & looking for some advice. Can you suggest a good, safe ramp somewhere between Moore Haven & Buckhead Ridge? I have never been over there.
Also how is the fishing been on the north west side lately?

Harney Pond is an awesome place to launch.   Several ramps and parking.  Also very close to some very good fishing.   When you motor toward the main lake, be sure to fish the cuts in the sides of the canal.  If the water is moving through them they can be awesome,

Well we launched out of Harney pond. What a nice launch.  it was pretty quiet fishing on the whole. I went back in to a cut as we had seen lots of small fish (bream?) surfacing in there but only caught a bowfin - no bass. worked isolated open water reeds or buggy whips but nothing.In the end caught 5, nothing bigger than 2 lbs. Caught them on chatterbait, swimjig, fluke, craw & a senko! yes 5 fish, 5 different baits!
Tried some of the cuts off the canal. Nice looking but no signs of life.
There were a ton of boats with in sight of us the whole time. (Rayovac tourney).
I will head back there sometime though, beautiful water!!!
