two men missing after boat crash on Lake Talquin - believed dead :(

two fishermen are missing following a boat crash on Lake Talquin.  Local word is they struck a stump while on plane flipping the boat.  Three guys onboard, one was rescued, the other two never surfaced.  Any of you guys that have fished Talquin know parts of it can be a minefield out there.  Just another reminder to be careful running in unfamiliar water. How many folks are going to have to die on that lake before they mark the channel,,, love fishing it when we get home but it can be dangerous.

Agree 100%.  I could see maybe not needing to mark it 15-20 years ago but now there is so much more boating traffic on the lake there is simply no excuse for keeping it unmarked.

Sorry to hear this news. I fish the lake a few times a year and always have a blast. We usually stay on the west side of the lake away from most of the stumps. Very sad news. My condolences for the families.
