Fantastic! They all look great!  ~c~
One of my addictions is making lures! Nothing like catching fish on lures or flies you make yourself!  ~gf

I especially like the spinnerbait with the hair skirt!  :)

Well done!
I have always wanted to make my own but don't really know where to get started...
I got a package from Revolution Lures a while ago from a field testing site and they were really cool as they gave you all the tools you needed to make hundreds of different spinnerbait/buzzbait combos.
But without that I wouldn't really know how to begin... any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Best way to get started is buy the components & just assemble them as you want them. That's how I started making lures, then I got into molding my own. There's a list of suppliers at the top of this forum, plus there are sellers on Ebay that make components such as jig heads, spinnerbait bodies or buzzbait bodies. You can get them unpainted & try your own paint schemes, or ready painted & add your own details if you like. The rest is simply assembling the skirts in the colors & number of strands to fit your fishing. If you're not sure, then you experiment & make some sparser or bulkier to see what works best.
There's also the blade components, as there are different spinner blade types & a couple of buzz blade types to experiment with.  IMO, the main thing with lures like spinnerbaits & buzzbaits is getting the balance correct on them. That means you use blades that are big enough to give the vibration & flash, but don't cause them to fall over on their sides when you use them. Fortunately, if you do cause this issue, it's easy to change them to something smaller or lighter, especially single blade versions, but requires buying more components if you don't have them.

Word of warning! Making lures can get to be a expensive addiction!  ~shade
The more you do, the more you may want to do!  lo
