3-5 pm was a feeding frenzy.caught 14 on lipless crank average size 2lbs biggest bout 3.5lb. Fished a cirlce about the size of my living room in a section of trees that created a funnel and shad where so thick in there if I didnt catch a bass I snagged a shad it was crazy. Had to leave early due to rain which sucked could have caught 100 fish it felt like. Had fun tho

Sounds like a great day. I figured it would be good. I headed out to BB Benton and as soon as I put my boat in the water it started raining/lightining. Go figure.

I assume you mean 10/2 since it is October.  It's always great to be on the water just before a front comes through.  The trick is getting OFF the water in time not to be blown away!

Lol cass I know ur feeling by time I found the fish it was 345 and heard thunder at 5 and when I got to launch and loaded up it was lightning and 30 mph winds.. don yes I mean 10/2 sorry about that lol maybe I can edit that I barely made it in time literally
