Benefit Tournament

Hey guys we, I, need your hepl. One of our's has been hit with cancer and it's giving him a beat down. We, MD Hawgsters, are holding a benefit tourn. for our friend Ron Hutchinson. It will be held on August 30th out of Dundee Creek Marina. We will be providing hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, desserts and drinks after the tourn. We are also working on door prizes as well (have some now working on more). If anyone wants to help (donations or time) please get intouch with me. Please come out and support one of our's and show Ron that we ALL have his back and enjoy a great day doing a good thing. UPDATE. Hey guys just want to give an update to this tourn. First thing is Ron's status, he is about the same. Still doing the chemo thing and fighting the good fight! We have got some traction on sponor support.....The fishres of Men org. will be coming out in full force and running our weigh in,Skeeter has sent me a Gloomis Skeeter signature series 7' 3 cranking stick to give away, Culprit baits have sent me some product, Bethesda refrig. company has gave us 10/ $50.00 BPS gift cards to give away, we also recieved a $100.00 BPS gift card to give from a secret santa (and its july, go figure) I also have stuff coming from Solar bat and Hags tornado bait company, as well as % off Powell rods. We hope to get more and I will update that info along with Ron's progress. guys I know that this is on a holiday weekend, and we fish alot of tourns. throughout the yr, but please come out and help one of our's!!!! hey dont forget we are going to feed you boys!!! if that wont get ya out what will....ha ah aha ha. Hey guys, new update. Let me first say Ron has lost his fight with cancer so he is no longer with us. Sorry to have to report that but thought all should know. We are still on and have alot of stuff to give away, baits and gift cards ect...Dont forget we are feeding everyone so come hungry. PLEASE pass the word and pray for good weather. I want to give a big thank you to everyone who participated in the Ron Hutchinson Benefit Tournament. All the anglers who showed up and fished, and even the people who didn't fish but helped. I would like to also thank all the sponsors who gave for this great cause. Skeeter, Vicious fishing, Culprit, Bethesda Refrigeration, Hags Tornado Bait company, Elite Bait company, EGO Nets, Billy Philips Lures, Buddha Baits, Solar Bat, Dobyns Rods, Powell Rods, and our secret santa. Thank you all so very much, you helped make a good day a great day. I want to give a heartfelt extra huge "good looking out" to the Fishers of Men Organization for their support, Thanks guys!!!! And I have to thank my brothers.....The MD Hawgsters, they really came together on this one, and showed themselves as the good bunch of guys they are...My brothers!! I would also like to say thank you to Billy Sanders for coming out. As you all know he too has cancer and is putting up one hell of a fight, but found it in him to show up and fish, I hope this day helped you Bill, in re-energizing  your fight, Don't Quit my brother! The tourn. was a big success, we had 16 boats and 31 anglers, and everyone caught fish. Everyone received a giveaway prize, EVERYONE. There was plenty of food, and no one left hungry, in fact no one left for a while. Everyone stayed and laughed ate and told stories (not of the big one that got away of course) and soaked in the very special thing we all did that day. We paid out 3 places... 3rd place to team Jeddry with 11.23 lbs, nice brother, 2nd place to team Bavaro with 12.99 lbs, real good job Mr. Man, and 1st place, with divine intervention working, and Ron himself, and probably god in his boat, team Osborne with 13.42 lbs with a 5.70 lunker. All the money team Osborne won was donated to Ron's wife, along with the 50% we took in, coupled with the 50/50 totaled just under $ 1,300.00 we raised for Ron's family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You Guys Rock. With that said Pammy, Ron's wife, turned around and paid it forward. She donated all the money to a family with a young 3 year old boy who has stage 4 stomach cancer. God bless here. On a personal note, Ron was my best friend, and I will miss him dearly for the rest of my life. We have, and always will have, great memories to hold and remember, to included what "we" did in "our" spot in this tournament, it truly was something special working on that day. This event helped a lot of people start to get some closure to his passing, but was extra helpful for me. Take care old friend, and see you again someday.
