Hey guys, looking to buy a good travel cover.  I don't want to spend $500 on one, but at the same time I don't want a $70 one that will tear next week.  I keep my boat in the garage at all times, just want one for when I go on long trips c.  amping and what not.  Throw some suggestions at me

Just saw the national boat cover website just pull up on the side.  Anyone ever used them?  Is there a UB discount code?

I need to buy a new cover this year too. The cover I bought for my previous boat (17' Tracker) was I think a Travel-Tite from BP. It was a universal semi-custom for bass boats and you ordered by boat length and beam width. I think the thickness was either 600 or 700 denier (whatever a denier is). The cover along with the motor cover was just a little over $200. Had it for two summers before I sold the boat and let it go with it. For the two years I had it, it held up well. Boat was stored in some shade but out in the weather. Towed it with the cover on anytime there was bad weather or a forecast for it.

I'm going to consider one for the Stratos. -Jim

I have been looking at the covers on the nationaldiscountcovers.com website since my post.  Those look really good.  I am curious to see what special offers they have for UB members.  I'm sure Mike will chime in soon and let us know.

The 3 large banners  "1 at the very top and the two along the lower right side are goggle run that show advertisements based on your online searches. While the spots are paid for the sites that pop up in them aren't UB sponsors but more like a commercial  ~sun

Well dang Fogy, you ruined that one for me.  Haha

All I can recommend is to buy a Good trailerable cover.  I would never trailer a boat with a cover that wasn't made for that model boat specifically.   A cheap cover can do lots of damage to a gel coats finish in just a short trip.  I had an Aurora Canvas cover on my Legend and can say they make one of the best.  They custom built mine only because they didn't have the pattern for a single console Alpha 211.
