I am gonna try the early bite because it is so hot out. Im not sure how long ill be able to stay on the water with the intense heat were having . Ill let you know how i did saturday night.

kickinbass you be careful out there in that boat in this hot weather. With the

beating off the water make sure you have plenty of sun block and cold stuff to drink.

Got out today and fish LaSalle F&W area, Fished the hottest part of the day . Caught 14 largemouth bass biggest was 20 inches long. The lure of choice today was a slugo worm black and red in color . water temp was in the mid 80s , water clarity was good but water level was way down.. The Bass were close to deep water in heavy cover..Went thru anothe roll of film today so ill be posting some more pics soo,. TO KEEP COOL I used a hand towel and dipped it in ice water to cool myself off every now an then. I drank 4 gatorades and a bunch of water also. Its hot people be careful out there.!

Nothing early huh?...I've been gettin' em at first light, and unfortunately at the hottest part of the day...but it's getting a little dangerous to be out in the extreme heat where I've been fishing lately, if something happened I probably wouldn't be found for days

but I'd get my 15 minutes of fame on the 6 o'clock news.

Fish,
I didnt get to fish the early part of the day. I over slept

. i work outdoors and after fridays heat and being in the AC i slept like a baby friday night and couldnt get out of bed saturday morning. So I fished from 11am till 800 pm.. Not going out today ( sunday)to hot for me and i need some rest. Im gonna have a few cold beers this aternoon and watch the cubs vs sox game and relax.
