After looking for my next boat for a looooong time, today I pulled the trigger on a new 2013 Z-7.  I think this boat was ordered by someone and something fell thru, due to it having a lot of upgrades including a Merc 150 four stroke instead of the Opti, upgraded TM to a Maxxum 80, graphs updated in the console and one on a ram at the bow, Keelshield, dual console, etc.  Should pick it up tomorrow or Thursday.  Looking forward to getting it on the water this weekend to break in the motor and doing a little fishing.

Congrats! Sounds like a nice setup. I looked hard at the Z7 as well.

Congrats!!  ~c~ Myself think you get a lot of boat for your money with the Nitros. And getting one that
has been upgraded for a deal is even sweeter!! Cant wait to see some pictures of it.

Congrats on your purchase! I'm in the same situation...I've been looking very hard for some time now, and I'm pretty certain a Z7 is the way I want to go too. Enjoy  ~cf

Hey just curious as to what you were able to get the boat for with the included upgrades. I have looked at the Z7's for quite some time and had sort of convinced myself to go with a Ranger Aluminum instead, but my wife told me yesterday that she likes the Z7 a LOT better, so maybe time to take another look at them.

Like you I've been looking for almost 2 years for the right boat for me, as it will be my last one I'm sure and I want to be happy with it for a LONG time.
