I noticed the other day that the "SKEETER" cutout lens was cracked I was wondering what to buy to replace it

You could take it all out, put clear plexi behind it, then light it up w/ LED's. That would be sick.

I plan on using LEDS but unsure where to buy the Plexiglass in that color

Or you could frost the plexi glass the color of your boat with some spray paint. Lowes or about any hardware store will have the glass. Another option would be go by a sign company and get a cut off
of a old busted sign, most have lots out back and a choice of colors too.

I found some green plexiglass if I put some some green LEDs behind it would I be stopped by the Police ?

There are some companies that will also make custom billet inserts with lighting behind them in whatever color you'd like. I had my dash panel done with something similar but not backlit.
If you need contact info just let me know. I have 2 sources for custom panels I can share with ya.

I don't think they will bother you about the color of your side lights as long as all of the other lights
work properly.

Is cost an issue? I would think you could get a replacement from Skeeter.

When I redone my trailer I replaced the white Plexiglas with yellow Lexan . The Lexan an will not crack and is more flexible then the Plexiglas . I found a supplier online that sent me a piece. Also you can go thinner with the Lexan and it comes in a large variety of colors.
