Hello I have a Skeeter ZX 185C and I ordered a set of HO blacklights for my boat that I plan on installing in the rubrail and I was wondering if one set will be enough? I only fish off of my front deck but was wondering if I would need a second set to put right behind them. If so how close behind? I was also wanting some input on the best placement (How far forward/backwards) of them. Beacuse once I cut the rail I cant change my mind lol
Thanks

No I guess there is no last minute mind changing on this one....

How long are the strips?

Tape them to the rub rail at night and fire them up, and see how they look. Might want to consider mounting them just below the rub rail.

I have thought of that oldjim but it has to be dark to really see and tonights low is -2 here but I am sure that is what i will do eventually

Where do you run the electric wires for something like this if the LED's are mounted on the exterior/rubrail?

I have made dozens of nav bow lights and recommend that you drill a hole in rub rail where you can acces the inside from a locker. for Nav lights just hook onto existing wiring. For this application you might want a seperate switch and fuse you can place inside the locker that the wire comes thru.
