I have been thinking about adding a cranking rod to my collection and ran across this online.

I was considering the bass pro crankin stick or maybe the skeet reese cranking rod that is clearanced out at my local walmart. I was wondering if anyone had experience with the Daiwa? You guys have helped me a bunch.

Thanks again.

I have two of these rods in H and XH. I throw swimbaits with it and I love the way these rods feel. Not exactly the lightest rods but its decent for what you're plan on using.

Just keep in mind these are discontinued from Daiwa. At that price you can't beat it.

Have the 7'11" model.  It will launch a 1/2oz trap like a catapult.  Tip-heavy, but this is a crankbait rod so there's always a load on it anyway.  Great rod for the sale price.
