Has anyone switched from a 3 blade prop to a 4 blade Spitfire on their aluminum boats? I was wondering about holeshot and top end performance difference's. I will be picking up my new Crestliner this next week and was under the impression that the 4 blade would make the 60 hp perform similar to a 75 on the holeshot.

From what I've read you may not get the holeshot from a big jump in horse power but it will improve noticeably. Top end is supposed to be increased and you will get better rough water handling. One of these days I'll bite the bullet and get one.

Thanks Rodney, I have read a lot of mixed reviews so was hoping somebody had made the switch. The dealer is installing the spitfire on my boat.

I haven't bought one yet, every time I thought I would pull the trigger something else came up that swallowed the money, I do want to get one.
