Soft Plastics Ban Does Not Pass - For Now

Anglers in Maine caught a little bit of a break on January 28. The powers that be decided not to recommend any legislature "at this time."

In addition to a ban on soft plastic baits. the original bill also called for anglers to use biodegradable hooks!

The words "at this time" obviously imply that they could reconsider it again in the future. Let's hope not.
