Ya never know I might show up with the lightening bolt one day :)
Sorry for the confusion , heading to Douglas today and had to get in bed early   42-2 is my guess :)
Stop by the Garage and let me know if you have Maintenance issues that you need assistance with.

I think it will require 49.15 to take it.  That is my guess.
You can't catch them on the couch!!

BW,  your weights will have you in the hunt for sure.  I think Day 1 weight total was 24 plus lbs.  Day two I bet will be around 18lb IMO.  With my weights "Go Big or Go Home".....  My bags are packed....   I think a cold front came through and did not help the 263 BassCat boaters on the water.

Kudos to GRR884 for starting this thread.   Well timed......

Creel Limit Zero

Since it is a Team Tournament, and a lot of boats registers, I'm going to go with 51.5 lbs.

Those posting their weights now I think have a unfair advantage since half the event is already over.  ~roflmao

Elwood

I said it earlier...two 20 pound sacks are hard to bring into the scales in a two day tournament.

So 38 total was the winning weight??

The Monday before the tournament air temps were in the low 80's.  The temps were dropping each day of the week leading up to the tourney with an impending cold front.  The first day was cold (around 45 in the morning), windy and misty.  The second day was beautiful but post frontal and brutal fishing from my standpoint.  I had practiced on Monday and by afternoon was finding 72 degree water temps.  First day of tournament (Thursday) started with 54-56 degree water temps.  That's a pretty drastic change for fickle Florida bass to take. The shallow bass I had found on the north end were gone.

Generally speaking on Rayburn or Toledo Bend in the spring it takes 40+ to win a 2 day tournament and in the early spring it can take a lot more, but the weather really hurt us.  It's just one of those things.  Guys still found fish willing to bite.  Congrats go out to those who were able to put together 2 good sacks.
