Hey everyone. Figured I'd ask this here since it has to do with a Tracker 175. I installed the 12/24 stay n charge in the boat for on the water charging. When the onboard charger is plugged in,the stay n charge works fine but when my motor is running, the stay n charge does not work. I called Jim Payne and he is stumped over this. I went over all of my connections and they're fine. Really only one way to hook this unit up. I spent the day in the water yesterday and kept checking to see if the unit turned on after running around the lake and nothing. Anyone else have the same setup? A 50hp mercury 2stroke. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem. I'd hate to send it back saying its not working but it is working, just not from my outboard.

do you have a 12v or 24v system?  The set up is different for each.

I had that issue with mine and took everything off, and put back on, have NO clue what fixed it, but worked ever since.  It could be a bad connection, bad wire from Main Bat to unit, ect.

Wish I had more help,
