FOR SALE, a top-of-the-line reservoir rig in outstanding condition. One owner, meticulously cared for and garage kept. Boat has 2012 stickers for Loch Raven, Prettyboy and Liberty reservoirs.

The boat was custom rigged for area reservoir fishing by Hooked on the Bay in North East, MD. It's powered by a 48v Briggs & Stratton electric outboard and 24v Minn Kota Edge 70 trolling motor (with spare Weedless Wedge 2 Prop). All batteries are maintenance free, high-capacity Optima BlueTop Group 34 marine gel batteries (with onboard 10 amp Guest Charge Pro automatic chargers). Batteries all purchased within past 24 months. The fish finder is a Humminbird 595c GPS with Navionics chip that includes a number of owner-created map markers to favorite fishing spots. The Triton 163 Sport has a tough .100-gauge all-welded hull and wood-free construction for a lifetime of trouble-free service. The fully-carpeted interior features two big casting decks, large live well, lots of storage and a roomy steering console. Aluminum trailer is in great condition as well. Trailer will fit into smaller garages as it has a Fulton Swing-Away Tongue.

5.3mph is the average speed at full charge. Have seen 5.5 with the wind at my back :-)

Hey J, 8.3mph on my 18' Grumman running a straight 60v. I definitely have one of the fastest straight 60's on the reservoirs. What I mean by straight is some of the reservoir guys will "juice" their 60v to say 66, 72 or 84v. All that requires, for the mostpart, is adding more 6v batteries. When you get above 8mph on these lakes its like you river guys doing 75-80mph on the rivers . . . its all relative. For us, even 1/10th of a mile an hour matters, especially, say on Liberty when you are running over an hour up to the top of Liberty (near Route 140).
1 is luck, but 2 is a pattern!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- WOW--What a ride!!!

Stro Uncle Genes rig does 8 in the morning before the batteries start to die. His is for sale if you want to buy one.
