If you guys run accross a good deal on a tenderly used Sabre of Sabre FTD please let me know.  I have a friend that is looking and after a demo ride in mine he is dead set on the Sabre.  He is looking for a later model and is willing to spend around 20g on the right rig.  No E-tec's and he is on the prowl on the normal boards....BCB, BBC, and Texasboats.  I did not see anything on Phils site either.  So if you run across a well taken care of later model (2007 or up) let me know....Thank you Brothers

Have him call Ek's Marine in Monroe.  One of his customers had one for sale.  Don't know if it's sold yet but it's a sweet rig and a pretty good deal.  I wish I could make an offer on it but my hands are tied for one more year.

Yea, that is a sweet boat.  Will run close to 70 if not more with some seat time.

Hang tight Jason and stick to what you want...it will appear....just might take a little time.  Mine took 7 months and it has been the best purchase I have ever made.

Jgrant27,  Welcome to Ultimate Bass, BassCat forum.

Let me add to the Sabre mojo.  Coming out of a 20' BassCat Eyra and going down in size returning to my Sabre roots (daughters wedding) I was a bit apprehensive at first.  A year and half later  all things considered I couldn't be happier.  What a testament to the build quality of BassCat smaller size boats.  Now it's no 20' boat but will say I'm completely happy with my SabreFTD.  To the point that while I've always kept my eye open for a bigger BassCat right now I'm not so sure.  I absolutely enjoy my SabreFTD experience both fishing and driving the boat.   I get better gas mileage in my boat as well as my truck and I catch the same type of fish.  ~b~ ~b~ ~b~  Boat size does not make the difference on the catch size.   :-*    At least not to me...  However, there are creature size comfort gains with a larger boat but guys like Darren's posting 25lb sacks in his Sabre proves boat size does not equal catch size.  I can honestly say you will be completely stoked with a BassCat Sabre.

Like Elwood said.  Don't rush,  you will find the "Ultimate Bass....Cat"  ;)  in your price range.

thanks fly for the welcome, and darren ill hang in there, the sabre ftd are awesome, and the sabre are ok too but i would prefer the ftd but i may have to go with the sabre due to price, the reason iwould go with a p2 or classic fly would be if i find one in my price range, and i would like one to run right at 70mph and i dont know why lol. ive looked at kelly whites p2 and love it but again a lil high, Am i wanting to much for to little, let me know if im in the right price range, Hopefully I can find one close to south, not really wanting to drive across the country thanks for everything fly and darren for the input and keeping your eyes open
