Has anyone fished the BassCat owners tournament???

I was wondering if anyone has fished the owners tournament? My partner keeps on me about going, saying if I go one time, I'm "hooked" for life. Just thought I would pose this question to the few, but proud BassCat owners.

One of the members of our club fishes it every year. He seems to like it alot.

I would love to go, but the expense of the trip is hard to swallow. It is a good 24 hour drive from my place (including going out of the way to pick up my partner). Plus if I want to be competitive in the tournament, I would want to spend 3-4 days prefishing to have a chance at cashing a check.

But they do give a lot of prizes away, tours of the plant, and there is a lot of hospitality from the locals

I'd like to go this year, but with the new baby I think it's out of the question.

I understand the situation with a new baby. One thing on your side, you live a whole lot closer to Lake Norfolk than I do.

Better than that I've got a camp a few hours from Norfolk, I might go next year though. I thought about taking my dad and do the father/son thing for as long as I can.

That sounds like a very good idea.

I try to fish as often with my dad as possible. I don't think my dad would go that far to fish with me though. Or is it mom who would not want dad to go to Arkansas
