Not the most artistic paint schemes I've seen but IMO a great start! Not that artistic needs to be a criteria for catching fish! 

I particularly like the copper colored one! Keep painting & please keep posting them! It will be interesting to see how you progress the more you do!

If you guys want to see some truly awesome paint on lures, not that there isn't some here, go to the Stripersonline website & check out the lure building forum. Most of the folks there are making wooden surf lures, but there are some amazing talents there with their painting.

In particular, check the thread called "Solar's homemade lure corner". That guy is IMO the Rembrandt of lure painters. His work is incredible!

yeah for some reason i have alot of trouble doing patterens i can do the simple ones like the kill dot and some fade with lines.but lke the "woops"y shad type patternes are hard  to do

I'm sure it's like anything else, the more you do it, the better you'll get! I've got a cheap airbrush I bought several years ago & have yet to take it out of the package! I've painted fly rod poppers for many, many years but never took the time to create patterns, just kept them simple. The fish don't mind!

yeah i finally got the scales down.i was having trouble.im starting to learn the lighter you airbrush it on the better it comes out to look
