I'm about to get my own computer to do what I want with. I was wondering if there is a program I could get that I could keep an updated resume and tournament finishes on??? I was just thinking use Microsoft Word, but I just thought I'd ask on here. I just want to be able to go in and punch what I want in and for it to do the rest. Is there anything like this out there? If not I'll just use Word. Thanks ya'll.

Hey Five,
Word is a great program to use. It is easy to work with, and most computers already have Word, so emailing it is great. I have seen some programs that you can use, but unless you are planning on printing the resume out and mailing it, the recieving party has to have that program as well or they wil not be able to open it.

Alright CrackerJack I sure do appreciate it. I figured that Word would be the best to use anyways, but I just thought I'd post it here. I'll just save me a file and update as it goes. 'Preciate it boss.  ;)

www.southworth.com  has templates for all kinds of things and resumes are one of them.  They also have some tips and good info as well... not fishing specific but resume' info.

FiveAlive, Word is probably your best bet. Although, if you want to be able to type in the accomplishment and have the program do the updating of format, etc. for you, which I believe is the advantage of the other resume programs mentioned by crackerjack, then you could always just print your resume to a pdf and send the pdf. PDF drivers are available for free on the net. And most every computer has Adobe Reader. Either way, it may be beneficial to send pdf's rather than word files, just so nothing can be changed accidently by the recipient...

Just a thought...
