I was thinking about this one for a bit.

What tools do you use when you are planing a trip out on the salty side?

Unlike most freshwater guys we have to worry about other conditions, like tides, surf, seaweed, and what else?

A couple places I check are a few piers and fishing groups on Facebook, then there are a few surf cams, and of course the tide charts.
