My rod compartment and the other big one just like it sweat really bad in my boat! Its so bad that they are growing mold! Just wondering if anybody else has same problem.

Interesting? I've not see this problem.

I can say that if I'm fishing in the rain and a compartment gets wet because I was in it a lot, then I have to open it to make sure it's dry as they seal very well.

I keep a cover on it a lot. I got some of those bags the draw up moisture, they help alot but my stuff is still getting damp! One of my worm bags has mold on it! I've started leaving the lids open and letting them air out when I come in from fishing. I don't think washing it once or twice a week has anything to do with it,I mean the carpet gets wet but not inside the compartments. I wouldn't have another boat, love my Legend! If nobody else is having this problem,I'm sure we will figure out whats causing it.Thanks for your help.

From my experience I would say it's more from the cover.  The rods, reels, lures have a bit of water on them when they are put up, along with the humid air as the lids are opened and closed, add in a boat wash once or twice a week with the wet carpet and once you put the cover on it and seal the boat up it causes the problem your having.

Try propping the lids open when you get back off the water for a while before it gets covered & make sure the boat is dry before putting the cover on.

Good Luck hope some of this helps dry it out for you.

Could very well be the cover as Fogy said..but..washing or getting the carpet wet that often (1-2 times a week) can lead to absorbsion in the boxes from the underside which is not from the seals on the compartment lids.  Might be a case of washing the sparkle off the boat!!!!!  Just another angle to look at and I hope you find a quick resolve.

I've been leaveing compartments open till the carpet is dry after washing. hopefully that will solve the the problem! I've had my Legend a year now and I can't stand to see the least little bit of anything on it,lol! Thanks for your help guys!I'm not putting cover on it till its dry which I already did anyway.

I had the same problem with my 199, I found that the water was coming in where the two ends of the seal come together. I fixed that by applying a little black silicone where the seal ends touch and problem solved.
Also make sure you don't have any strings or pieces of carpet that hang over the seal which could be wicking water into the compartment.
