I asked the question on the other thread.  Shoulda known SOMEBODY would come up with a way to do it.  I didn't check the price on this gadget but I'll bet it's not real cheap.
I have decided to just throw them on ice for the trip home, and then slice and dice.

It is fairly expensive, about $74.70 for the gun and holder, but watching the video, it is quick!  But you could do the same thing with you hand and a pick!  Main thing is to find the right spot to hit the brain.

I'm so old that I still have an ice pick.  In fact I actually remember using one to help my grandmother chop up blocks of ice that the iceman delivered.  He still used a wagon with two horses to make his rounds.  I was about 4 or 5, so it was in the late 1940s. 
Can you imagine giving a young kid an icepick these days?  You would be arrested for child abuse.
But, I digress . . . as usual.
