Lowrance,  way to step up!!!  I may have had a rocky start but life is good and I will be fishing this weekend.  So I start over re-freshed locked and loaded with my HDS8 up and running.  Navionics mapping works and I'm good to go.  Yea!!!!!!

Lowrance CS folks were extremely nice, very professional and at times holding my hand way to much.  If they didn't have the answer they would put me hold and do their best to accommodate me.   Now I got to go look for a Lowrance hat to buy.   ~gf :)

Tom, hopefully its all plug & play for ya. Can't wait to hear the results of the install.

Gary,

It is plug and play.   Since I've been waiting for my HDS8 I've been on my Navionic's PC App marking waypoints on my Coosa Chain Lakes.  I exported them to my SD card and imported them last night.  Now I got to be disciplined and stay behind the wheel  ~b~  becasuse I'm going to spend this afternoon going over many waypointed submerged bridges, hmps, buildings and ledges.  I've got to break the cycle of casting to find fish and use my HDS8 as my searching and finding tool.  Also, time to learn more about my Lowrance HDS8.  I imported all my waypoints last night so I'm ready to go.   ~c~ ~c~ ~c~

Great News!!

Breaking the "Cycle" isn't going to be as hard as you think. For the first couple trips it's going to be hard to pick up a rod because of all the cool footage you'll see and learning you'll do.  :-*
