Fished the Media Bass tournament with partner Aaron on Lake Seminole yesterday. We practiced Saturday and managed a few bass in the 1-3 pound range.  Here's one of them;

We started the tournament day in an area we caught a 3 pound keeper in practice and found nothing biting on top water.  Moved a couple more times and finally picked up our first keeper between 10-11 am in the 1.5 pound category.  By 1 pm we had a limit and culled the last time 20 minutes before our 2pm check-in time. We found the majority of our fish along grass lines close to deeper water and we caught everything  on either a watermelon or red bug magnum ultravibe worm. We weighed 16.18lbs after a half pound penalty for one dead fish.  Our big fish was the last fish we caught, culled a 1 pounder and weighed 5.84 pounds. We finished up 4th of 13 and 2nd in big fish. Out of the money by one in both categories. The water is heating up and sits in the mid-80s right now. I return next weekend for our ABA division's annual two-day tournament.

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,

Good deal Swede. I really miss sight fishing on Seminole in the spring. Be glad when I get back in the area in the future. 8)
