Help on the Rapp

hey guys my next club tournament is on the Rappahonic in VA. We are launching at the 301 bridge. I have never been down there. Does anyone have some pointers or spots for me to try out?  I was told that there is a lot of timber to flip and that the water is usually very dirty.
