Guys

Last year I bought a 2010 Alpha 199, love the boat.

Im in the process of putting the trolling batteries back in (3 of them, 29 series), and there is no way I can get that last one in. I know they fit because they were there last year and the dealer took them off prior to shrink wrap the boat and winterize it.

The dealer is no longer around to ask.

Any tips?

In my 211 I am running type 31's, I have to put the one against the storage compartment first, then the rear most one next and last I put the middle one in, but I have to stand it up on end and slide it down and then under the deck side.  I don't know if the 199's are the same configuration or not, it does take some ingenuity to get them in though.

I found out how to do it.

Put in the first 2 and place them against each other as tight as possible. The 3rd one you have to tilt 1/4 turn ( so battery posts are on the side instead of the top, so make sure your covers are nice and tight or you are going to have acid all over your hands). I ll go right in, once you are in, set it up right. Holy smokes, that took a while to figure out
