Surprised no one has jumped on this? We have several Lew's users on the board. They may not use that model though. I do know I've played with several different Lew's and all have proven to be quality products  :-*

I have one and it's kinda awesome!  Makes long casts and is super smooth.  Definitely my go to reel for cranking.

The early bird may indeed get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese

I ended up ordering the 5.4:1 and I like it, its super smooth and it makes long casts and light weight.

I have tournament models. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a mg. Even if they are close with feel to a tourny
that works for me, I'm buying one for one of my sons. He has several PQ's and is coming along with his baitcasting skills.

I apologize for not seeing this. Im glad you are enjoying your choice and I am confident you will continue to get alot of enjoyment out of the reel. If you have any questions at all dont hesitate to ask.
I love Lews so much I decided to get on Team Lews :)

I've got a Tournament Pro and love it. It will sling a rattle trap! It's very similar to my Abu MGX for much less.

Got the Tournament MG Monday in 7.1:1 for my bottom fishing rod and I am in love. Super smooth, and amazing value. Picked up the Speed Spool last week and an equally impressed. Total quality.

Camden,

I own a TL1H Team Lews so does that make me a Team Member too?  :)  Getting ready to maybe buy a second so maybe that help too.  I love my Lews reel and am planning on having all my bait casting reels be Lews before I am done.

See Ya,

Pat

i got a chance to try one out Nice reel but did not cast or feel any better then the BPS PQ reel  which i didn't expect it to since its made by the same company that makes the PQ & is based on the same design that's why most of the parts are interchangeable   the Lews tournament reels have basically the same spool that came in the BPS PQ Tournament reel
